Dear book enthusiasts, feminists and fellow queers,for October, we read ‘The House on Mango Street’ by Sandra Cisneros, which tells the story of a young Chicana girl growing into adolescence.
Let’s get together and discuss our thoughts, questions and insights. If the weather is still nice, we might have another literary picnic next to the Muziekkoepel in the Noorderplantsoen. If autumn hits or the pandemic grows worse, this will be an online meeting.
Don’t worry if you don’t manage to finish the book. Our meetings are open to everyone, you don’t have to be a member.
