Join us at the opening event of the Groningen Anti-Racism Week 2022! (In-person & Online Event)
“Intersectionality” is a term that oftentimes is used as a watered down version of what it truly stands for. During this event we will have an introductory talk on the meaning of intersectionality, the intersections between race, class, and gender, and why all of our activism must come from an intersectional perspective. Afterwards there is time for questions and a short discussion, followed by a social event which includes music, food, drinks, and getting to know some new folks in Groningen!
Accessibility:
The opening by Mallika and the talk by Momo will be streamed via Google Meet, link will be shared closer to the date. The location has an accessible entrance, but not an accessible toilet. Also, there is no indoor heating, so wear warm clothing!
Covid-19:
A maximum of 30 people can fit in the space while keeping physical distance. So sign up via the link below to reserve your spot! We ask everyone to bring their own face masks, but we will also have some available at the location. We will be ventilating the space before (and during) the event. There will be hand sanitizer available. We ask you to please follow the event online if you have symptoms of Covid.
