Who makes the streets we walk in?
Did you ever wonder why we move in the streets the way we do?
In the end, it all comes down to the city’s design, historically often made ‘from men for men’. This Wednesday we want to discuss urban planning from a feminist perspective.
Together with you we’ll look at some inspiring approaches to make the city more inclusive for all. Kinga Kot comes straight from Norway to our screen to talk about planning experiences in universal design. This is a hybrid event and we encourage everyone to share their experiences and suggestions!
❗️ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:
Kinga Kot is a municipal planner from the Oslo region, working in the field of mobility. She will tell about her experiences in the planning practice.
Eleonore Witschaß is a master student in Environmental and Infrastructure Planning, focusing on social justice in the city. She will introduce feminist urban planning.
