Groningen Anti-Racism Week Day 4
(This event is facilitated by Facing Love)
Many of us have gone through traumatic events in our lives that have left us feeling unable to trust our environment, relationships and even ourselves. Without experiencing this fundamental feeling of safety, it can make interacting with the world everyday very stressful and daunting.
Breathwork is a powerful tool in trauma recovery as it has the ability to bridge the rift between the body, mind and spirit that is caused by trauma.
In this workshop, we will be working on reconnecting with the vulnerable parts of selves using the power of the breath with the intention of creating more internal harmony. We will then integrate the experience of that reconnection through intuitive art making.
About the Facilitator:
Jordanka is a Certified Healing Breathwork Facilitator & Holistic Coach as well as a Fine Art Masters student. She uses art as a tool to make sense of her internal world (as well as the world around her) and she questions how the human subconscious affects how we all relate to our society. Currently her research revolves around the concept of moving from trauma to safety and how to close that distance using holistic and artistic practices.
Accessibility: The location is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. This event will not be hybrid, only in-person.
